Couple: Davina and Sanjay

A romantic wedding must include a perfect album of detailed photo-ops captured during the special day. At Happy Films, we take great pride in each snapshot of Davina and Sanjay's wedding exhibits the celebration of love and culture.

The wedding ceremony happened at Robert Albert Palace, which astounded guests with its exquisite Indian banquet halls. The reception followed at Royal Grand Manor, which the wedding party and its guests enjoyed.

Davina and Sanjay’s Guyanese Wedding Tradition Highlight Film

Filled with rituals and dances, the wedding combines a culture-based ceremony and a western celebration. The seven-minute wedding highlight video of Davina and Sanjay sums up the intimate moments of the couple.

As you watch the video, you’ll see each magical moment during the wedding day.

The reel showcases the cheering of the crowd and the love of the guests toward the couple. We preserve this one’s in a lifetime experience in a short film.

The video also captures the exciting party where family and friends surrounded the couple.

Wedding Ceremony Venue: Robert Albert Palace, Fords, NJ

Albert Jasani and Shobhna Patel designed the Robert Palace in Fords, NJ, for clients who want traditional Indian wedding venues.

The venue has spacious banquet halls ideal for huge weddings. It's complemented by a large private parking lot ideal for any guest size. Overnight lodging is available for guests who want to rest after the ceremony.

Traditional Guyanese Wedding Ceremony

Davina wears a flattering red lehenga choli. The bride, or dulhan, also adorns herself with bangles, a wedding tattoo (mendhi), and a bridal nose ring.

During the customary ritual, Sanjay, the dulha or groom, dons an embroidered sherwani and a coordinating turban.

The couple gets married in the mandap, which serves as an altar. It’s one amenity offered in the Royal Albert Palace.

The mandap serves as a sacred place to pray for the Hindu deity and conduct offerings and rituals. During the ceremony, no one may enter the mandap wearing shoes.

The bride and groom circle the fire in the mandap, with the bride taking the lead for the final circle while the husband leads the first. Hindus hold that fire serves as a cleanser that sustains life.

Guyanese Wedding First Look Portrait Session

Davina and Sanjay grabbed the chance to get captured in the “First Look” meeting. The couple made a wise choice with this. The intimate moments revealed during the session allowed us to witness their love and compassion before the ceremony.

You can feel the outdoor location's peaceful atmosphere from the picture. You can also sense the couple takes time to walk as they hold each other’s hand.

First look wedding photography

We're lucky that the photo shoot captured the bride's emotion when she spoke to the groom.

The weather has been remarkably fine and clear, creating a sunny botanical setting, while the natural light coming through the woods heightens the shot's intensity.

We enjoy working with nature. So whatever time of the day you’ll have your photo session, the unpredictable outdoor source of light is not a problem at all.

One of the most sentimental events of the wedding day is the First Look, which we never fail to capture.

As our team keeps growing, we’re able to step up the game. We ensure our clients that we capture each moment in both cinematic and journalistic ways.

Reception at Royal Grand Manor

The couple picked the Grand Manor for a picture-perfect reception. Its gorgeous crystal chandeliers create a lavish venue for dancing and celebration. It's the perfect place to end the celebration.

Through our cinematic approach, we’re able to execute a dramatic couple’s dance while capturing effects, including artificial fog and indoor fireworks.

Family members of the couple made speeches and toasts. It was an emotional portion of the event, as their loved ones looked back and appreciated the couple’s kindness.

The western influence reception hyped the event before it wrapped up.

The reception party lasts into the wee hours of the morning. The couple and their guests dance the night away while holding drinks in their hands to the sounds of chutney-soca music.
